About the index

The AI Insider Risk Index is a vendor-neutral resource for measuring how exposed an organization is to AI-era insider risk. This page says plainly who runs it and how it stays trustworthy.

What this is

Insider risk changed shape when work started flowing through AI tools and accounts that most security stacks never see. The index gives security leaders a way to measure that exposure across five signals, take a free self-scored assessment in about ten minutes, and read a tight library of research where every figure is cited to a major source. It exists to be useful on its own, whether or not you ever talk to the company behind it.

Who runs it

The index is built and maintained by Anzenna, an AI security company. We say that plainly because a benchmark is only useful if you can trust it. Anzenna sponsors the research and the tooling. It does not shape the score in its own favor.

How it stays independent

A few commitments keep the index honest, and you can hold us to them:

Our commitments
  • The assessment never asks about or rewards any vendor's product, Anzenna's included.
  • Every statistic is attributed to a primary source, and we cite only major research organizations, never security startups marketing a competing tool.
  • We never invent a figure or round past what the source says.
  • Taking the assessment does not start a sales conversation. Nobody from Anzenna will reach out to sell you anything because you scored yourself.
  • The scoring is published in full on the methodology page, so you can judge the weights for yourself.

How we handle your data

The assessment runs entirely in your browser, and nothing you answer is recorded to see your score. If you choose to leave a work email for the detailed report or the brief, we use it only for that. Full details are in the privacy policy.
